Basketball is one of the most widely played sports in the world. There is a multitude of tournaments and championships around the globe allowing enthusiasts to cheer for their favorite teams. World Basketball Manager is a simulator that tries to give players the same feeling by introducing them to the world of team managers.
Become a basketball team manager
Players can create a new profile and edit their age, nationality, and a starting team. There are also some points that you can invest in several areas: Coaching, Psychology, Training and Youth. Each one will affect a different aspect of the managing experience. Unfortunately, there are no hints to how these points exactly work.
Two teams can be managed: a national team and a club team. Each one of these has a different set of variables which can be tweaked to win a match. Managers can select a number of players to perform in a national event, but they have to make contracts with individual players for club matches.

Get involved in all aspects of your basketball team
The game is extensive and offers a great deal of variables that must be individually managed. Users can control expenses, transfer players, create line-ups, train young individuals and coach matches. There are a lot of things to take into consideration and a small window of success.
Individual matches can be controlled separately and managers can make live decisions. Players get injured and need to be replaced or can be excluded from the game for committing fouls. The game is fast-paced but quite unattractive. The entire match is commented and you cannot view player interaction. There is little input from managers and if you are not familiar with the different roles each player must fulfill, you will quickly lose the match.

World Basketball Manager is an interesting simulator with comprehensive and various features. Players can easily be immersed in this game, but there are some drawbacks. The graphics are not impressive and seem rough around the edges. Moreover, the names of teams and players are most of the times misspelled and this fact does not help improve the overall mood.
